Xbox 360 along with Moviestar unveil latest environment for Xbox Live through Kinect and Imagenio

Mario Garana, President – Microsoft Iberica and Luis Miguel Gilperez, President – Telefonica Espana showcased their latest entertainment form at the Flagship Store of Telefonica in Madrid. Xbox 360 users will be given access to 12 different TV channels through their consoles that will provide them the best content from cinema, sports and music. The service can be availed through Kinect using accurate gesture and voice controls by the customers.

Kinect has revolutionized videogames by making use of their state-of-the art body and voice recognition feature. They now plan to change the manner in which users can enjoy their favorite entertainment tools. Using an application courtesy Moviestar, the ‘Imagenio’, favorite content can be accessed without using remote controls.

Xbox 360 customers can easily access the Imagenio provided they are active on the Xbox Live. All they need to do is use the internet platform from Xbox 360 to download an application.

Imagenio is already helping Spanish users enjoy the latest international and Spanish movies. Wide ranging sporting actions ranging from the Champions League soccer to latest tennis and extreme skiing action along with the best in gaming across the world can now be watched by users of Xbox 360.

Channels that have been made available through the cumulative efforts of Moviestar and Kinect include – Eurosport, Xtreme Sports, Eurosport 2, GolTelevision, ESPN, Marca TV, Iberalia, Teledeporte, MTV Espana and many more.

This latest update on Xbox Live will make Xbox 360 a console that will deliver unthinkable entertainment experience. Provided with the update is a trendy UI design, Kinect provided voice control as well as the latest in entertainment application. Initial offers courtesy Moviestar Imagenio will make all these entertainment options free for the Xbox Live users from the beginning of December till 31^st January.
