US Judge plans to ban Xbox 360

It seems that Xbox is facing the heat in the US as the latest reports say that a judge has vouched to ban Xbox 360 from the country. The criticism came after a patent dispute between Microsoft and Motorola over the 4GB and the 250GB S models of Xbox 360. The same created problems for Xbox even in Germany where the console was almost banned.

The judge, behind the admonishment is administrative law enforcer David Shaw, also added to the appeal that cease-and-desist orders of machines should be stopped.

He further stated that Microsoft must enforce a bond percentage of 7% of all the unsold consoles that are present in the country. Microsoft lashed out at the appeal saying that 7% was too much for them and unreasonable.

They added that instead of 7%, they can consider 2.5%. Motorola on the contrary came up with an appeal that Microsoft should shell out 100% which is being laughed about. Microsoft retaliated by saying that the appeal was something that will not be taken well by the public as of Xbox is eradicated from US, then there would be only two consoles left namely PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii.
