So finally the widely acclaimed mob-simulation game Omerta: City of Gangsters will be making its way to the Xbox 360 platform soon. The game has been developed by Haemimont Games and will be belted out into the market by Kalypso media.
Initially reports were rife that the game will be launched for PC but owing to the response as well as configuration set-up of Xbox 360, the publisher as well as the developer decided to make it to the bigger platform.
The game as been based in the 1920s era when the crime bosses rose from dark and controlled cities. Even the Tropico series which is the counterpart of the game was launched on the Xbox 360 platform rather than PC. In Omerta: City of Gangsters, the players advance their way across cities as powerful mobsters and overthrow each other.
The prime objective of the bosses is to acquire more and more building where they can easily set-up speakeasies illegal boxing rings as well as distilleries.
By doing this, the earning of each boss increases manifold depending upon the number of building acquired by a particular boss. This is a perfect game for all those who have always been fascinated with the mafia empire.
