Now more sports content on Xbox Live

Xbox Live has over the past few years given a lot of preference to sports and thus now Xbox Live boasts of NHL, NBA, UFC and many other sports networks of ESPN. All one needs to do is buy a Pay-TV subscription as well as Live Gold Service in order to gain access to the sports content available.

Let us assume that a soccer match is about to take place and will be telecasted on ESPN, ESPNU and ESPN2. Now all of these channels have been made available on Xbox Live.

Thus, one can easily make a change from one game to another. A split-screen format is also available in case if a subscriber wants to watch two matches at the same time.

The convenience of this feature is much more than that of cable television where the person has to switch between different channels in order to watch two matches taking place simultaneously.

But there is something else that subscribers need to keep in their minds. It is not true that there is absolutely no involvement of cable television here. The subscriber needs to get a key approved from the cable connection of the area in order to gain access to ESPN on Xbox Live.
