Software giant Microsoft has finally rolled out an Xbox Live app for Google’s popular mobile operating system – Android.
The official Xbox Live app for your Android has enabled users of Android-based devices to track their achievements, watch and enjoy gaming videos, and change their 3D avatar.
The long-awaited app also allowed Android users to send and receive messages from Xbox Live friends as well as to edit their profile while on the move.
Being the very first version of the My Xbox Live app for Android, it brings very fundamental features to the devices running Google’s popular mobile OS.
Tech enthusiasts at Droid-Life have tried the app and expressed their contentment at its user experience, which apparently makes the most of the same Metro user interface design that is being used on Microsoft’s Windows Phone devices.
The new official Xbox Live app for Android devices can be downloaded from Google Play Store. Microsoft has also updated My Xbox Live app for iOS, which can be downloaded from Apple App Store.
