Fez to hit Xbox Live Arcade

Finally the long wait is over as multiple 2D platform puzzle game Fez is said to be making its way to Xbox Live Arcade very soon. The game was supposed to be launched in 2009 but due to several complications, the release was pushed back.

Now finally Polytron has made a formal announcement regarding the launch of the game on April 13, 2012. The game is set to be available on the Xbox Live Arcade and pre-purchasing drive has already commenced on the site. The game is available for 800 Microsoft points to all those who have subscribed to the service.

Phil Fish who happens to be a co-creator of the game had given out a statement last year saying that the name of the game and its type had been inspired by the games of Nintendo.

But then he was asked whether there was any fair chance of the game being launched on the Nintendo platform, there was an apprehensive and petrified response from his side.

There is a lot of buzz around the game as the enthusiasts of the game have been waiting since a long time for the game to make its way into the mainstream gaming industry.
