Initial details including some screenshots on a new co-op game titled Fable Heroes have been recently provided by the website Xbox.com. Being developed by Lionhead Studios, this game looks like a twisted version of Fable – a game that was developed for Xbox Live Arcade. If the screenshots that have been floated are taken into consideration, the gaming enthusiasts can look forward to characters of the Fable franchise making a more cartoon-like appearance than even the main Fable series.
The game will allow up to four players to play both together and against one another. It will keep record of the players’ accomplishments via leaderboards. It seems that the game will support both online and offline co-op.
The players can come together as heroes of Albion to conquer old and new enemies while attempting to collect gold coins to unlock characters, upgrades and items in this game. Same is also applicable for another game titled Fable: The Journey which has been developed for Kinect for Xbox 360.
The game will be purely action based putting it ahead of the earlier version wherein simulation ruled the roost. Though there is no information yet on when Heroes will finally be released, it is expected that this (Heroes) and Journey, both the games will be released in close proximity.
