Popularity levels of Elder Scrolls V Skyrim has really soared with ZeniMax Media revealing 10 million units of shipments of its game worldwide. This constitutes a figure of $650 million in retail sales since the game was launched worldwide on 11th November, 2011.

The company expressed great satisfaction and gratitude for the great reviews that Skyrim had received across the globe, as per a statement of ZeniMax Media, CEO and Chairman, Robert Altman. The company was also grateful to its fans for the enthusiasm and support they had given to the game. The company also promised to provide the highest quality of entertainment to everyone in the future.

In lines with the same, the company was planning to bring in a lot more innovative features in 2012, which would include the release of its Creation Kit along with DLC for adding richness to the epic adventure.

As per company sources, when the game was released in PC version, it managed to outsell all competitive PC titles by at least three times in the North American market. The year 2012 would offer fans of this hugely successful game many other additional features.

The game has been priced at $55 for the PC whereas PS3 and Xbox 360 versions cost $49.99.
